There is nothing fancy about this blog: I am a normal woman just like you.

And just like any normal woman, I want to look and feel my best but at a fraction of the price. It’s the credit crunch after all!

The reviews I give in this blog are unbiased: I am not gaining anything from promoting the merits of a moisturiser you can buy in Poundland. Let’s face it, the affiliate money does not reside in such cheap products. (The only thing I will ask of you girls is to possibly support me by buying my e-books: 2 full on guides on makeup and cosmetics)

Nope, you will only find reviews of great brands if I deem them worth more than their pot of gold, and that’s rare. Instead, you will have reviews of usually unknown brands that you can pick up from the lower shelves in Superdrug, Savers, Tesco, Boots and Poundland. And you will be surprised to know that not everything is quite as it seems…
